Individuality to Collectivity (1)

“I don’t like that man. I must get to know him better”, says Abraham Lincoln.

We all agree that the world is a global village now. We are not limited to ourselves as we previously used to be. Elements of one part of the world affect the other. We are all interconnected through different means. We can not manage to live together in the absence of understanding and even if we do, it would not be lesser than a comical fable in a sense that it will prove to be a curse for our coexistence. We live in an era of self-defense through attacks. We believe when something seconds us and reject when doesn’t. It is self-centeredness that hinders our true grooming and development whether mental, intellectual or academic, while many believe it to be the other way around. Our horizons must cross the boundaries of selfhood-individuality to reach the vastness of collective-humanity.

Real Fiction (Poem)

Night away with crickets alone
Lap of misty forest benign,
Thousand birds exhausted by day
Gathered together around the tree
Of palm so calm to chirp in glee
But alas they saw me, saw me and fled
Opened my eyes the cheering warmth
Of worms and crickets around my bed.

…Fancy cheats well when ends well…

Gain is Struggle.

Gain is served by intense labour and at the expense of time in plenty, more specifically material one. The end of gain has its footings piled upon desires of satisfaction and love for success. Everybody craves for height of being. Everybody yearns for the apogees of existence, in a worldly sense.

Here rises a realization of what it takes to be there in our own eyes, tempus, the time. People with gains based on no expense of time or sweat are truly akin to God. Since we are earthly that is why we cannot manage to go beyond the physical world to the depths of mysticism practically. It is spiritual in bodily sense. We can manage to earn through expense, not without it. It also accompanies pain.

Material gain is compulsory but it must not be the goal. The goal must be greater than our approach.

Somebody has rightly said that try to jump to the point a little bit higher than your approach, that is struggle, effort. That is the end. If you will only try to achieve what you can than there is no growth for you. You are as dead-still as you are then.

Point_Blank

Dr. Stevenson, a truly inspiring man, in his TED Talk tries to teach his first lesson in these words, “Never believe a prediction that doesn’t empower you”. Since he is physically disable and relies on wheelchair by birth, he continues by saying that all the doctors prophesied with surety that he will not survive. He says “Today, after 35 years, all those doctors have gone and I am the only doctor who remains”.

Predictions are possibilities but possibility is never certainty. We human beings are way too conscious about what is there in the store for us. Prediction can be a prejudgment especially when some of the aspects are overlooked. Disbelief in predictions is another thing and being prepared for such possibilities is another cup of tea.

What simply can be done is not to wait for others’ weakening prophecies but to predict strength and more empowerment for ourselves on our own.

Self-love is crucial when all we see is selfishness. Motivate people by predicting good for them, inspire by encouraging and strengthen other’s by showing love and care. Treating people in a way that we want ourselves to be treated is perhaps the most efficient and worth pondering truth that the wise folks emphasize.

Surely we can do it. We can help people in their grooming or growth whether intellectual or moral. If we will do it to others then others will do it to us. Believe you can and you truly can.

Worst Experiences are the Best Experiences

“Negative experiences are positive experiences and positive experiences are negative experiences”, says Mark Manson in his The Subtle Art of Not Giving a four letter word that starts with f and ends in k. Repetitions of the four letter word and emphasis on it by Manson can surely prove to be offensive but, his subtle art is truly artful.

Remembrance of awkward and oops moments is quite certain as compared to the good ones. Freudian explanations might stumble over the barriers of this hypothetical fact. No one can forget embarrassment completely but pleasure seems itself to be handled another way.

Negative experiences boost us because they provide us mending opportunities. Positive experiences can make us feel super sufficient that can be detrimental when it leads towards the total satisfaction. Why? Because that snatches or, less severely speaking, weakens our chances of constant improvement completely.

This statement seems debatable but no, it is not. It is as simple as that. Use the negativities to strengthen positivity in you. Making the best use of ones experiences is the best intellectualism.

Understanding Differences

Paying heed to differences is not for drawing repulsive boundaries or to make some ethnic and racial discrimination, not even for confining others’ limitations or to promote isolating creations embedded in Philosophy, Theology or more correctly in Literature. Appreciation for differences must not be approached pessimistically. Our biasness can be a hindrance in this regard when our approach is negative.

Differences can be taken as varieties. Variety is the ornament of the Multiverse. It guards us against the tastelessness of Monotony. We have that pretty much, the feature of love for Diversity there in our inborn spheres of mind, the element of loving one after the other and getting tired of sameness or oneness of stuffs.

The world would never be so lovely as it is today if there was no variety. There would not be humans but programmed fleshes. We are not programmed and that’s why our beings matter more than AI or anything. If we won’t accept the truth of Variety then we are not good at being honest.

Appreciating differences is not for the promotion of disharmony or incompatibility but for a better understanding. Our unacceptance can lead us to promote tolerance, tolerance when it is not the need. It is a tool for betterment and a tool can be used in any way.

Propagating Understanding is better than preaching Tolerance.

Weather-Nature

“Oh wild west wind!” is Shelley’s

Uh… I truly don’t know from which way is the wind blowing, I don’t know its direction but I know it exists, I know its existence, I can feel it. It has jostled through my being. It does when it comes and it does to all.

The spring is far behind but I have preserved not the glimpses but the whole sight there in my core heart. I live both, I am inspired and affected by both.

I live nature. I feel its warmth even in the coldest of winds. Nature heals when one truly feels. I truly do. It heals not in a way but its own. Let it be done by the way it does.

Broaden Your Horizon

“Man is selfish by nature” is a saying more often quoted. If this selfishness means self-love then it is truly a blessing yet “Excess is bad” remains constant. Society is full of diverse minded people all possessing unique point of views, values and approaches. We all see, feel and respond differently but what makes us a union is permanent diversity. Some are squares, some are circles, some are rectangles and some are triangles. Trying to fit a rectangle in a circle or square in a triangle is not possible. If we will try so then we will surely cause damage.

Life is full of nasty experiences but for a man of learning these experiences can be the best experiences only if the right perspective is adapted. Nobody keeps all lovers around him/her and nobody meets haters all the way all the time. The only person with zero haters can possibly be Mr. Bean or Charlie Chaplin otherwise we are all the sheep of same flock. We all have both lovers and haters. No matter what you do, you can never be able to satisfy everyone and don’t ever try it if the need is self-satisfaction.

Same is the case with us. We like some people and we hate or at least do not like some. So do they. What is so strange with it? Isn’t it normal? Of course it is. If it is then where comes the fear of being rejected?

It comes from diffidence, lack of knowledge and understanding and lack of appreciation of diversity and differences. Know the above fact as fact to get boosted.

Love yourself and love people. Admire variety and develop understanding so that the world can be seen through different angles.

Art Bestows Joy

Art represents life. A painting can be a permanent source of joy when appeals aesthetically and it surely does. Art lives more than man does. Eternity itself proves this impermanence to be a masterpiece a painter.

They say it is eternal, it is permanent. Not that it truly is but there is surely a sense of permanence in it that gives us wings to fly over the caravans of life. Art motivates us to appreciate beauty and skill.

Art can really be helpful when used as a means of shift and escape from toilsome state to serenity, from impermanence to permanence and from present to joy, even for a while. Man can find greatness in nothing and nothing in greatness. It depends on how we look and where we stand.

Just look around you to get motivation and inspiration, from work of art to the art of nature everything is so full of solace and contentment. Appreciate it to get appreciated. Love it to live beyond life.

Art heals. Feel it. Enjoy it. Live it.

Interactions

We, the social animal, cannot escape interactions. They can either be positive or negative. Treat them in a way that paves your way forward. It boosts our connective bugs thus grooming our being.

Crowd soothes when loneliness hurts and loneliness curbs pleasures when in need is company. We can learn a lot more from interactions.
