Why Do We Fear?

Fear is a condition, a state of being in uncertainty about something. It prevents our mental growth sometimes but not more often. Fear helps us to be reserved. It is a prison is a common notion everyone believes in. It makes us prudent if it is worth pondering, it makes us more conscious and critical.

What gives rise to fear?

As far as I see it, most of the time, it is due to our overreaction and anxiety regarding results since we always get stuck in what might happen next or at the end of the day. Fear is a state and can be taken in both positive and negative connotations. Our overemphasis of the outcomes before time give birth to insecurities.

Control fear to imprison it. Don’t let it control you or you’ll get imprisoned.

Live Nature, Live Beauty

Autumn in Chitral

My great teacher used to say “You sustain them and they sustain you. You breathe in what they breathe out and they breathe in what you breathe out”. Trees…

They are life. They are changing but exact omens. They possess beauty, the ultimate desired food of man. They bless us with the pleasures of colors.

A half-covered vehicle, a dried-up water-pump-well and dry fallen leaves giving the omens “winter is not far behind”.

There are lots and lots of things around us that crave to bestow pleasures upon us. What is needed are “the eyes”. Surely, “Beauty Lies in the Eyes of the Beholder”.

EXE Chitral : The Timely Response

The developing world is pacing forward towards the height of modern day technology and digitalization by leaps and bounds but developing countries, like Pakistan, lack that rapid adaptations of the worldly progress. What developed states introduce comes to Pakistan after decades. What comes to Pakistan reaches the backward rural areas like Chitral again after a decade. Having very little resources, these rural areas deserve more focus as compared to the urban areas. Cities have factories, mills, employing companies and thousands and thousands of other job opportunities. Villages do not have this status. People in the rural areas live hand to mouth due to extremely limited resources. The youth of such places do not get enough exposure to the external world. As a matter of fact, the youth remains unaware of the opportunities that technology and digital world are desperate to offer.

Today, one of the most trending and easy occupation for financial stability is “work from home” that is “freelancing”. Digital Skills and earning online were introduced decades ago and took their expected time to reach Pakistan. It has become a trend because of providing unlimited opportunities for earning and self-employment. Everything is being digitalized thus everything is commodified.

Backward areas like Chitral have to wait for such possibilities, but thanks to EXE Chitral for their timely response to this dire need by educating and training different aspirants with multiple digital skills. Thus paving way for addressing the financial problems of the native people, more specifically the youth. We need not knocking because the doors are not closed. The doors previously used to be slightly ajar are wide open today. The only thing we need to know is where lie the doors and what is behind the doors! Get equipped and be prepared for what lies beyond these doors.

Digital world has more to offer than we can imagine, only if we would know what it takes for commodifying what we have and how to do it? Everybody has something in case if nobody has everything. We need realization as well as best use of the opportunities and whatever we have.

Different platforms are providing digital skills training in different urban areas but EXE Chitral deserves true appreciation for their initiatives for the well-being of the youth of rural areas by providing free digital skills training under different categories. It is also the wisdom of EXE Chitral to employ local trainers for true and practical inspiration of the learners.

Grand salute to this great Organization. We are truly very grateful for such a golden opportunity at home. Thank you so much EXE Chitral and the sponsor Shah Holding Groups for guiding the youth towards the doors of modern day digital platforms of e-earning. May your efforts bring sweetest of fruits and may you prosper more and more.

Pursuit, First Instance

There are different levels of pursuit like of Happiness, Popularity, Money, excellence etc. One among them is the pursuit of Prestige. Human beings are social animals as often quoted. We love others to know what we have achieved. We do this because we want to be recognized and encouraged so that we might be motivated or simply give a good impression. We do it by showing our connection with others (people or things) that we consider worthy or important.

Examples :

“When I was in XY University, I used to study 5 hours daily”. (We can say just university but we don’t do it because it’s about prestige). We try to show our college badges, student cards etc. This is how we try to inspire others by motivating ourselves. This is bit natural. Prestige is a mid-level pursuit.

Individuality to Collectivity (concl.)

We do not cohere with the life turning tip of Lincoln. His is a philosophy way beyond and contrary to our approach. Our awesome philosophy is “I don’t like that man so I need not understand him”.

We need to be intrinsically motivated towards knowing others, regardless of what is our favorite or what we are inclined towards. Let us give a chance to others so that they can make their points clear. Let’s be open-minded. Let’s know each other.

Individuality to Collectivity (3)

Our opinions, way of living, values, interests and beliefs are different, it does not make us aliens from other planets. We are all the breeds of this earth and we all will return to it. Why focussing on the details that make us unlike? Can’t we emphasize the way we are in compatibility? Why don’t we concentrate on what is common among us? Why always adding fuel to the fire of disharmony, our own creation.

We might be different in millions of ways but we are also same in hundreds of things. We can have the windows of our optimism open and let in the breeze of peace and union. Let not our judgements be based on our estimations and guesses. Let’s not be pre-judgmental only on account of stereotypes and our own biases.
