Enjoy Me Please

There lives a place in a place that lives,
A place that breathes and a place that gives
Thoughts to mystics and words to the writers,
Motifs to the seekers and zeal to the fighters
And that’s not all, it gives inspiration
To tidy timid folks and courage to the nation.

It keeps in itself lovely glimpses of divine
Beauty that bears the hearts of people nine,
Eternal comfort with unending ease,
Calls out loud “Enjoy me please”,
Then sufis behold and poets get sharper
Flutes of love, the ear and the harper.

“Such is thy grace that holds all men
Such is thy show, yet beyond my ken”.

Live Nature, Live Beauty

Autumn in Chitral

My great teacher used to say “You sustain them and they sustain you. You breathe in what they breathe out and they breathe in what you breathe out”. Trees…

They are life. They are changing but exact omens. They possess beauty, the ultimate desired food of man. They bless us with the pleasures of colors.

A half-covered vehicle, a dried-up water-pump-well and dry fallen leaves giving the omens “winter is not far behind”.

There are lots and lots of things around us that crave to bestow pleasures upon us. What is needed are “the eyes”. Surely, “Beauty Lies in the Eyes of the Beholder”.
